Great van for a weekend away, definitely would book this van again in the future
Great camper, everything as expected, great condition. Handover and explanation of the camper was simple and very informative, made our weekend very smooth. Highly recommend.
Very enjoyable vanComfortable and easy to use air condition great location at broulee caravan park great spot good weather would hire van again
Thanks very happy
This small hybrid van tracks incredibly well on bitumen and dirt roads. The water capacity was sufficient for 8 nights at campsites with no available water sources. The solar panels ensured that we had lighting throughout the trip, could run a small fan in hot conditions and provide power to the water pump. There was plenty of ventilation to take advantage on any cooling breezes. This is the 2nd time we've hired this van and other than a couple of small issues everything worked as expected.
The Jayco CrossTrak is an excellent little van, with a comfortable double bed, the option of two smaller single beds (bunk and converted seating), a well appointed and simple kitchen, hot water, and a well sized awning. There is storage under the bed accessable from outside as well as a few little cupboards inside. We brought our own bedding but bedding can be supplied. There is cutlery and crockery, but check how many people are camping as you may need to pack a couple of extra plates. There are camp chairs and all the hoses you need to power and water. The van is heavy so a 4WD with sufficient towing capacity is a must, especially when your car and the van are loaded, but it is a stable van and easy to hitch and tow. We enjoyed the van, it was warm and comfortable and easy to tow and reverse into the camping site. Felipe explained the van efficiently and showed all the inclusions and the set up. He was available for a verbal handover and a separate pickup which was ideal for our timings. Everything in the van works, and is in great condition. Would recommend!
Great van. Easy communication. Everything I was looking for.
We really enjoyed a week away camping
Thankyou to Andrea and Felipe for our experience with their van over the weekend. Communication was clear, friendly and flexible, The van was as described, tidy, clean, and provided with everything needed for our trip, We found it to be a very pleasant transaction. Would definitely use Escape on two wheels to hire if we ever needed in the future. And highly recommend if you are considering contacting them about hire!
The van is easy to tow and set up. Currently it is more a van for caravan parks on power more than free camping as it lacks battery power for extended stays. It also lacks a freezer in the fridge, so I recommend you take another esky for ice or your own fridge/freezer unit in your own car. Otherwise a comfortable unit with an excellent external kitchen.
The Jayco Crosstrak 13 towed really well and was easy to manoeuvre. The bed was comfy and the hws was almost instant. As a first timer with Camplify Andrea and Fellippe were very helpful. Hopefully we can hire from them in the future
We had a great holiday in this van, easy set up. Good handover and simple return.
The van was great and just what we needed ! Will remember for future
Great van and easy pickup and drop off. Had a great weekend with the family and look forward to our next trip!
Good little van took us to Melbourne and back, no problem!
We loved it. It was nice and easy for just myself and my almost 3 year old so set it up alone. Air con, kitchen was great also. Thanks again. I highly reccomend the experience.
Andrea and Felipe were most helpful and friendly in communicating information on the operation of all aspects of their Jayco Crosstrek; both before and during the rental. The van, provided sheets and utensils were clean and sufficient for our time away. We didnt use the shower annex or the off-grid aspects, as we had a ensuite caravan park site. The van tows very easily behind a medium size SUV; the only problem experienced being the connectivity between my iphone and the electronic braking which was peculiar to my iphone. Unfortunately the weather was not kind for our time away, but despite the continuous rain the crosstrek kept us dry.
Would love to hire from Felipe and Andrea again.. great van..
My family recently hired a Jayco Crosstrak caravan for a 5-day vacation, and our experience was positive. Positive Points: 1. Punctuality and Instructions: The handover process was impressively punctual, and the instructions provided were clear and comprehensive. This made our journey kick off smoothly and hassle-free. 2. Easy Towing: One of the standout features of the Crosstrak was its easy towing. Even on winding roads, it remained stable and didn't pose any challenges, making the journey enjoyable for us. 3. Interior Space: The interior of the caravan was surprisingly spacious, comfortably accommodating 2 adults and our 4 and 6-year-old kids. The smart layout made the most of the available space. 4. Packing Space: There was ample packing space, ensuring we could bring along all our essentials without feeling cramped. 5. Amenities: The caravan boasted a large fridge, a cleverly designed bathroom annex, and hot water on demand. These amenities significantly enhanced our camping experience, especially with young children. Negative Points: 1. Solar Power Limitations: Despite having an additional solar panel, the caravan's solar power system/battery of 100AMP fell short. It was insufficient for staying off-grid for more than 2 days, which might limit your camping options. 2. Unreliable Gauges: The water and electricity gauges provided by Jayco were unreliable, making it challenging to monitor our usage accurately. This uncertainty added a level of inconvenience during our trip. 3. Insufficient Bedding: The caravan lacked enough blankets for colder nights. We luckily took additional own blankets with us. In summary, the Jayco Crosstrak caravan offered a comfortable and convenient camping experience, especially for families. Its easy towing, spacious interior, and useful amenities made it a joy to travel with. Despite these issues, if you plan to camp in areas with reliable power sources or during warmer seasons, the Crosstrak is a viable and enjoyable choice.
We had a fantastic time in the campervan. Andrea & Felipe were great to deal with and very helpful. We would recommend this to anyone and we will certainly do this again.
Great van to hire, easy handover and instructions.
